COTABATO CITY โ In culmination of a training-workshop initiated by the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) council, social workers shared their insights and outputs, which are vital for the improvement of the ECCD system in the Bangsamoro region.
The main objective of this event, held on March 14-16, 2023, was to present the standards and guidelines for the registration and granting of permits and recognition to public and private child development centers/learning centers. This is also in preparation for the roll-out of trainings that will be conducted by the participants for the child development workers in the BARMM provinces.
Among the resource speakers from the ECCD council were Edwin Taleon, Karl Jeffrey Sabalza, and Remelyn Malaquilla.
